SESSION TIPS:

  • Clothing: Bright colors and patterns are fine, but try to stay away from dressing your child(ren) in anything with words or pictures on them, as they will most likely have their arms and hands in front of them. Keep in mind that Santa will be wearing red and white. Pajamas are always adorable and highly recommended.
  • BE DRESSED AND READY TO GO ON ARRIVAL.
  • Sessions will be just a few minutes long, each--just enough to catch several really fun expressions and poses, and to let Santa give a few moments of special attention to each child.
  • Sessions are scheduled back to back--please arrive on time and ready to go, in respect to others who may come after you. We will be doing our very best to not run behind!
  • TODDLERS: If you have a toddler and are worried they may be scared of Santa (it's very normal!), please let my assistant know prior to your session, so we can "hide" Santa for the first shot. Some things that can help: Showing lots of pictures and videos of Santa in the weeks and days prior, talking about how fun and cool Santa is, acting excited (NOT stressed) about your session, giving your child a "gift" or letter to give to Santa (this helps them feel a little more in control) OR passing us a gift for Santa to give to your child.
  • Session images will be posted to an online gallery for you within a week of your session. Keep an eye out for an email that will have your gallery link, password, and special code for your Free Digital. Additional purchases are entirely optional, but you will also have the option to order ALL of your digital images from your session in a special package price, custom Christmas cards, professional prints, and specialty items.
